Fintry Queen Ports-of-Call The
goal of this Company is to provide a
transportation link between the
communities, parks, wineries and
resorts situated along the shoreline
of Okanagan Lake.
Today the Fintry Queen is tethered
to pilings, awaiting the next
chapter of her life. A lease has
been completed with the City of
Penticton to build a new moorage
dock adjacent to the Kiwanis Pier,
at the foot of Main Street.
Over the course of time, we will
look to add additional landing
facilities at all the historic sites
and communities. While those
facilities are being prepared,
because the ship was designed as a
car ferry, with her bows cut back to
get in close to shore, we will be
able to land at parks, public and
private places by utilizing her bow
boarding ramp.
